Dyed tapestry hanks

Subject: Old leftover yarn

Hi, many years ago I was involved in spinning & dyeing and tapestry weaving. I dyed aran yarns with Procion and other dyes for a tapestry project. They have been sitting bagged up in the loft since about 2000, when I became unable to continue through ill health and business commitments. Having moved to Scotland (St. Cyrus) my husband is clearing the loft! There are about 2 kg worth of dyed hanks -20 odd hanks in bright magentas, and orange ,with a preponderance of greys and turquoises. They have been dyed and rinsed but not oiled. There should be tapestry loom as well, but at present cannot find it. If anyone is interested they can have it.

As a member of Embroiderers Guild Aberdeen branch I found this link, hence the contact – if you know of anyone closer to Aberdeen please pass this on.
